The space

The space is a fully renovated, late 19th Century building located off a communal courtyard garden. Ascending two flights of stairs brings you to the front door. This level has a large lounge, kitchen, and bathroom. An internal staircase takes you to the attic which houses the double bedroom and has access to two roof terraces with splendid views of the Acropolis to the south and the rest of the city.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire apartment. The entrance coutyard and external corridor are also used by a renowned cultural preservation organisation that has its offices in the adjacent building.

The neighborhood

The Plaka quarter is undoubltedly the most desirable district to stay in central Athens, being at the very foot of the Acropolis and having a unique historical character. Within easy walking distance you can visit all the sites, enjoy great food and shopping, and live like a true local.

Getting around

Getting around is very easy by foot and a car is not necessary unless you intend to do some long distance sight seeing. The metro stations of Acropolis and Syntagma Square are both within 10 minutes walk so access to the airport and port are easy peasy.

You must also acknowledge you must climb stairs to reach the house
Welcome shampoo and conditioner is provided. The guests have to provide their own for long stays.
Baby cot can be provided for an extra fee of 25 Euros per stay
High chair can be provided for an extra fee of 10 Euros per stay
