Roomy and elegant home in the heart of Athens
Our family of ten recently spent our Thanksgiving holiday in this home in Athens. The pictures on the website didn't prepare us for how elegant and spacious this place really is. The views from the rooftop deck and the small balcony off the bedroom are amazing. Since it was cool outside, we weren't able to use the outdoor patio for dining but could see how perfect it would be. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and the gathering spaces were large enough for all of us when we wanted to spend time together. The only issues we had were the hot water was a bit tricky to manage with all of those people and as Americans, we aren't used to using hand-held showers. These "complaints" are extremely minor and would not stop us from booking this home again. There are a ton of shops and restaurants nearby and many coffee places we visited almost every morning. This property was worth every penny and we would love to have the opportunity to visit again.

A great stay in a beautiful villa on perfect location
We were a group of 11 visiting Athens and the stay in the villa is perfect. The villa is spacy and has everything you need; and more. Everything within walking distance and the hosts are very well reachable by mail and/or phone if you need anything. For closure we had a private dinner in the villa including late check-out and this was amazing. Excellent food, wines and very friendly and kind people. As a comment I would say that the villa has place for 9 adults to sleep, instead of 11 adults. There are 3 double bedrooms, 1single and 2 rooms with small beds big for 1 person- to small for 2. We managed by sleeping on the couch. Nevertheless: great place to stay in a wonderfull city!!

Birthday celebration
Beautiful villa with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Good dining area and also lounge and another TV room. We could relax and enjoy the peace in the center of the city. Location was great to all the interesting sights. Close to restaurants and so on. Highly recommend this villa.

Sept 30,2018 Dear JJ Hospitality, Allow me to provide you my sincere review of your The Whitehouse Mansion in Plaka. Pros: - Easy rental booking, check in & check out. - Awesome Location. - Beautiful Main Home. - Tasteful and Elegant main home Decor. - Great for Large family group. - Easy Transportation reservations. - Pleasant Staff. Cons: - Air Conditioning unit Inoperative in 1 of the 2nd Floor rooms of the main house & in the cottage accommodations. - Bed Bugs in the Cottage Accommodations. Even though your property was beautiful and with a spectacular location, the bed bug situation in the small cottage took away the beauty of the place, due to the fact that 1 of my guests was severely bitten and she required medical attention during our stay and back in the USA due to her painful situation. Thank God it was not an elder or a child, because it was not a pleasant situation for my guests. I know your management team tried to address the the air conditioning issues promptly, but they were never fixed during our stay. I believe a better solution, besides moving my inconvenienced guests to the main home, should have been provided. At least clean blankets, bed sheets, pillows, maybe inflatable mattresses or cots should of have been offered. We tried our best to accommodate them the remaining of our stay sharing beds with them, but that was not what we were expecting to do in our last days in Greece. I highly recommend addressing the Cottage bed bug issues before they spread to the main beautiful house and affect other guests. Best, Amaline Vargas

Wonderful house with excellent hosts
We really enjoyed our stay at the White House this summer. It was a centrally located in Athens for all of our sightseeing. The home was very clean and worked great for a party of 9 people. We look forward to coming back and staying again.

A great location and a great house for a big family
Dear J and J, The White House was a grate place for our family and we’ll definitely rent it again, But I would like to make some suggestions. You might want to have an option for more amenities for an extra fee. I would personally pay an extra fee to have paper towels, extra toilet paper, bottled water, extra shampoo, bar soap, and laundry detergent. I also like to mention that the floor in the basement was not well cleaned and to keep the five star review the basement bath needs some repairs. I also found stains on a bed cover. Stay at The White House
I enjoyed my stay tremendously! The house was clean and more than enough to accomodate 9 of us. The renters were great and helpful. Location was perfect! I will be recommending this rental to other others.
